You say grace before meals. All right. But I say grace before the concert and the opera, and grace before the play and pantomime, and grace before I open a book, and grace before sketching, painting, swimming, fencing, boxing, walking, playing, dancing and grace before I dip the pen in the ink. — G. K. Chesterton
What a beautiful thought… there is so very much to be thankful for that the turkey would be cold and the gravy congealed before I could even scratch the surface. Of course saying thank you for “everything” seems taking the easy way out!
Much of my personal gratitude must remain unsaid, but heartfelt… there’s only so much space on the internet! However, Glenn & I both wish to express many thanks to our customers and our community for supporting local, sustainable agriculture. Your participation and encouragement are an indispensable part of a healthy food system!
We’re grateful not only for those who have become customers, but for everyone who slows down to let a chicken or turkey safely cross the road. We appreciate the smiles and waves of neighbors (and strangers) as they pass by. We relish that you share your fond memories of Miss Church and the days of yesteryear. We are grateful to be part of such a wonderful community.
Many thanks to you all… and Happy Thanksgiving!
