Come Saturday 21 March 2015, I’ll be in Narrabri in North-Eastern NSW to keep the good folks of Nosh on the Namoi company.
But before Saturday’s festivities, on Friday 20 March I’ll be out and about visiting the local schools like I did last year. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the different ag plots and school gardens have come along.
The festival does a wonderful job of sharing the region’s food and culture. It’s inspiring to see a growing food economy that’s sharing the unique personality of the region with the wider NSW community.
Against the stunning backdrop of the Namoi River on Saturday I’ll be talking local food and cooking up some of the produce of the district (accompanied by perhaps a green smoothie or two).
One of the highlights from last year and it is on again is iNOSH, an extreme film making workshop for kids. Tyronne Curtis inspires them to see the world through different eyes. Theres only two sessions and I wish I could do one too. Book in !!!
Then on Sunday 22 March La Nosh Cucina, an Italian four course long lunch that’s set to be a stunner along the banks of the river again.
I had a great time at last year’s event. Why not make a weekend getaway of it and see what the region has on offer.
Some shots to give you a taster of the ball we’ll be having:
