It’s all systems go for Melbourne’s Sustainability Festival
The Sustainable Living Festival is set to kick off in Melbourne with vege swaps, sustainable garden tours and art exhibitions, setting the scene for three weeks jam-packed with events. The festival aims to raise awareness of, and provide tools for sustainable change by showcasing solutions to the ecological and social challenges we all share. It is Australia’s oldest and largest sustainability festival and the ultimate goal is to inspire and empower everyday Australians to accelerate the uptake of sustainable living.
The Festival’s Big Weekend event at Federation Square will celebrate the very best examples of ecological and social sustainability, including interactive workshops, talks, demonstrations, artworks, exhibits, films and live performances.
If you live in Victoria, or feel like taking a long weekend in the near future, go to the Sustainable Living website and check it out.
