There’s a few spots left in the Real Food Projects workshops this weekend

If you or someone you know is a budding food writer / blogger and you’re at a loose end this Sunday, this workshop could be just the thing to inspire you to take the plunge.

Real Food Projects has joined forces with Sydney Living Museums to hold a series of classes at Vaucluse House in Sydney’s east.

Sydney Morning Herald food writer Barbara Sweeney is bringing her knowledge and experience to a workshop which will help you improve your writing, learn how to find the story, avoid food clichés and identify different
food writing styles. It is a practical workshop so bring your pen and notebook.

Photographer Anthea Williamson is adding 2 hours of tuition in the the basics of food photography to the mix (iphones are OK).

The workshop includes:
  • All day class with Barbara Sweeney and Anthea Williamson
  • Private Vaucluse House kitchen and kitchen garden tour
  • Comprehensive notes.
  • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided using local artisan producers.
  • Date: 2nd Feb 2014.
  • Time: 10am – 4pm.
  • Rain, hail or shine.
  • Cost: $300
